About this artwork: Waiting for Food-A lone Turkish soldier is the only thing standing between these Kurdish refugees and piles of bread, dumped on the ground by Kurds living in Turkey. Many times the Turks would wait until dark or for rainfall before allowing the Kurds to get to the bread.
